We primarily market and distribute an extensive range of water-based paints and coatings that have been specifically developed for the Film, Television, Theatre, Exhibition, Display & Visual Merchandising markets.

Bristol Paints are pigment based, pre-mixed, intermixable and ready to use, all hues are available ex-stock.

Due to the quality of the saturated colours, combined with a totally matte finish make them very popular with both scenic artists and scenic painters alike, this is also true on the creative front with scenic designers and set decorators specifying our colours and products for their productions. In addition to the our extensive Pure Colour Palette, we have an exclusive range of Metallic Acrylic, Metallic Polyurethane,  and Glitter finishes.

We also enjoy an increasing interest from interior designers and decorators as well as a growing number of architects and heritage specifiers, who also favour the totally matte finish that our paints achieve. Our Ultramarine Blue is becoming a world renowned colour as a perfect alternative to the Majorelle Blue that is found at the Majorelle Gardens in Morocco.

Bristol have developed an exclusive water based PVC painting system, enabling the creative decoration of most PVC based dance flooring, which when cured can be then be rolled, laid and re-laid many times without peeling of chipping.

Associated products include a special range of VFX paints and fabric for use on visual effects backgrounds, these are available from our BRISTOLVFX division.
